Installation
IMPORTANT!
Keep the boards in the unopened package at room temperature for at least 48 hours before you start the installation. The room temperature must be at least 18°C before and during installation.
1. GETTING STARTED: Check the BerryAlloc boards before you start and make sure that the surface has not been damaged in anyway. After cleaning the subfloor, you can roll out the plastic sheet and then the underlay material. The plastic sheet must overlap by at least 20 cm.

2. FIRST ROW: Start installation of the boards in the left-hand corner, with the tongue side against the wall. Make sure you place the short side of the board 8-10 mm from the wall. The long-side can be pushed into place when three rows have been installed (Maintain a distance of 8-10 mm). If the wall is uneven, the floorboards must be adapted to its contours. Remove the first row. Cut the boards as required and then relay them by sliding them in at an angle.
3. END SECTION: Position the end section of the next floorboard at an angle to the first one, then lay down. Complete the first row in the same matter.

4. Place the final floorboard face down with the short side without a locking strip towards the wall. The distance to the wall must be 8-10 mm. Mark where the floorboard is to be cut.

5. CUTTING THE BOARDS: Place the board face down on the work surface and cut to size using a jig-saw. If you are using a hand saw, ensure that it is fine-toothed and cut the board face up.

6. STARTING THE SECOND ROW: Use a cut piece of board at least 30 cm long from the previous row to start the next row. If this piece is too short, start with a new board cut in half. Always ensure that the end joints are staggered at least 30 cm.

7. CONTINUE LAYING THE FLOOR: Place the floorboard at an angle against the floorboard in the previous row, press forward and fold down at the same time.

8. Place the short end of the floorboard at an angle against the previously installed floorboard and fold down. Ensure that the board is positioned on the integral locking strip of the floorboard in the previous row.

9. Lift up the board (along with the board that was previously laid in the row) by about 25 mm and press it against the previous row. Bring the panel down again as soon as the boards are positioned tightly together. Do not press the board fully down. After all boards in the row have been put in place, press all boards flat against the subfloor (or walk over them to achieve the same effect) before starting on the next row.
10. TO LAY THE LAST ROW: Measure and cut the board. Leave 8-10 mm distance to the wall.

11. HOLES FOR PIPES: Measure the diameter of the pipe and drill a hole that is 10 mm larger. Saw off a piece as shown in the picture and lay the board in place on the floor. Then lay the sawen-off piece in place.

12. DOOR MOULDINGS AND SKIRTINGS: Lay a board (with the decorative side down) next to the door moulding and saw as shown in the picture. Then slide the floorboard under the moulding.
