Underneath the surface of Parqwood Hydro is another layer of strength: our waterproof wood core board. Want to know the science behind it? Our core board is made up of both small and large particles. This makes it more compact because no gaps are formed. With a waterproof coating to further protect these particles, it’s difficult for water to infiltrate the board. Swelling is almost nonexistent – a feature that’s one of a kind for a wooden floor. Plus, it consists of 30% recycled content and is 100% recyclable, contributing to a better environment.
Our Ultimtec® bevel coating is applied to all bevels, preventing both the bevels and the 0,6 mm real wood surface from absorbing water. Your bevels will remain clean and unaffected by daily life.
Ultimtec® will protect the surface of your floor from scratches, impact, and wear. Parqwood Hydro has a usage class 33 rating to prove their strength and durability.
Ultimtec® uses a unique application method to fully penetrate the wood structure, sealing the top layer and deeply infiltrating the wood pores. Your floor is protected from any damage and discolouration.
