Our parquet floors are crafted in Meaulne, France, and consist of a thin wood layer that’s 2,5 to 3,3 mm thick, an HDF board, and a counterbalance in pine wood, sourced from sustainably managed European forests (PEFC certified). Discover the characteristics of our parquet floors and the practices we’ve chosen to implement.
sustainability
Wood is a renewable resource that naturally stores CO2 during its growth – this carbon storage can retain up to one tonne of CO2 per cubic metre. Our parquet also uses an HDF board, mainly composed of wood fibres, to support the wood surface. The CO2 captured for this wood, along with the carbon captured throughout the tree’s lifecycle, more than offsets the fossil fuel emissions generated during manufacturing*. Plus, all wood materials originate from sustainably managed PEFC-certified forests.

A real wood floor that’s made to stand the test of time – lasting over multiple generations. BerryAlloc’s parquet floors use an oak veneer of 2.5 to 3.3 mm, which makes it possible to resand up to three times depending on thickness and wear. The result? These floors can last up to 150 years, which is the full lifetime of an oak tree.
Tradition meets innovation in these beautiful oak floors. In supporting French parquet, you’re supporting a local industry that values and respects wood and the sustainably managed, PEFC-certified forests in which it grows – as the European leader in hardwood, France processes all its wood near its origins. BerryAlloc is proud to hold the “Parquets de France” label, a certification that maintains strict standards in quality, traceability, and guarantees local manufacturing. The local production site is also fully supported by its own biomass energy plant, using sawdust to power it.
Bring nature into your home with a beautiful parquet floor that’s made to last. Enjoy the soft touch of natural wood in your interior space and explore a broad variety of shades and styles in our different collections.
Easy to maintain and without affecting the natural beauty of a wood floor, BerryAlloc parquet is varnished using the innovative Ultimtec technology, providing added strength with a class 33 durability, extra scratch resistance, and extra protection: Ultimtec protects the wood down to the deepest pores, making it possible to install your parquet floor in kitchens. Ultimtec guarantees a healthier indoor environment, with an A+ certification and emitting a low amount of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Plus, it provides all the beauty of an oiled floor but with the easy maintenance of a varnished floor, only requiring a new layer of varnish once the floor has been resanded – instead of once a year, as is required when oiling a floor.
